The last few months have been a choice between keeping up with blogging or keeping up with life. I, pretty obviously, chose the latter. But winter is here and with it a slightly slower pace, which means I’ll be posting all the work from the summer that I have yet to share!

Before going into the backlog though, I want to share Erica and Matt’s snowy, laughter-filled engagement session! Erica suggested one of her favorite parks in the area, which I have to admit I knew nothing about and it was absolutely perfect! Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve (how’s that for a mouthful!) boasts over 5,000 acres, right in the Lino Lakes/Shoreview area, of hiking and biking trails, boating and fishing opportunities, and the ability to get a little lost in nature.

Not only was the location perfect, but Matt and Erica are an absolute delight to be around! My job was made extremely easy as these two laughed together throughout their entire session. I’m already so excited for their, hopefully snowy, February wedding!
